MIKEE COJUANGCO is back on television as an actress, and Marina Mendez, a housewife and fan of the TV host-actress, is pleased: “Last Sunday’s marathon showing of GMA 7’s ‘Magic Palayok’ was interesting because, finally, after a long time, Mikee, my favorite actress, is back on the small screen. I enjoyed watching her scenes with the formidable Cherie Gil in another kontrabida role.

"Mikee, who portrays a mother, has markedly improved as an actress. She was effective in her dramatic scenes without going melodramatic. Unfortunately, her character is one of those who ‘die’ in the series’ early episodes. Does this mean an early exit for Mikee? I hope not, because her presence on the small screen is a welcome relief from the now boring practice of casting the same pool of overexposed actresses doing the rounds of soaps."
