A Chat with Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski

Rick: Hi, Mikee. What made you decide to get into your sport — riding?

Rick: Did your parents influence you in any way?

MORE THAN 30 thousand feet above the earth and 40 minutes before PR-417 was to land at the Centennial Airport late Wednesday night, Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski was moving about the dimly-lit plane like a flight stewardess.
One couldn’t be sure. Maybe she was going around finding out if her friends and equestrian teammates were all right. Maybe she was trying to settle down her emotions as the vessel approached home to reunite her with her two children.
Maybe she was wondering if a motorcade was waiting to drive her – red and blue …

the highest track we’ve jumped is 1.20m. We jumped clear rounds in the
warm-up class yesterday. Toni was 4th and I was 7th in the Classic Open
today. The 1st World Cup Qualifier is on Friday then we have a class
each …
